American actor

Jeff Conaway was an American actor who passed away tragically at the age of 60. He is best known for his roles in the movie "Grease" and his ongoing role in the series "Taxi" and "Babylon 5." He also made an appearance on "Celebrity Rehab."

Born 1950 in New York City, New York, at age of 15 he went to the North Carolina School of the Arts and later went to New York University.
In 1960, he won a role in the 1961 Pulitzer Prize-winning play "All the Way Home" which was later nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play. He was the lead singer and guitarist for a rock band, The 3 1/2, and recorded singles for Cameo Records in 1965. He made his film debut in the drama "Jennifer on My Mind."
After many commercials, and after appearing in the Broadway production, Conaway appeared in the musical film, "Grease" with John Travolta in 1978.
That same year he was cast in the television show, “Taxi.”
Jeff Conaway was also an accomplished singer and sang a duet with Marie Osmond in 1980.
